"shantytown project" - 5

where there is light, there is hope.

these old, poorly maintained buildings, accommodating dozens of households, are far from spacious or comfortable, with very limited amenities. people cook in the open kitchens along the hallway, besides cupboards and shelves. when going over the pictures, a shoebox on one of these shelves caught my eye. it was printed with some letters, saying "Life is a beautiful struggle." I guess it is. and it also feels like someone above is talking in a mysterious way.
